WELCOME TO AN EXCITING 2008 SEASON!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope that you all had safe
and memorable holidays with your families! The 2008 season calendar for Couple’s
League is complete. Just click here to get a printable version for your
records.

This year, we will kick off with our MEET &
GREET party on May 9th. We will be having 2 fun shotgun tournaments. One will be
mid-season on June 27th and the other will be the end of season awards banquet
on August 22nd. Mark your calendars now!
PLEASE R.S.V.P. for the MEET & GREET party by
emailing me by April 18. There is no cost for the meet & greet party’s appetizer
buffet. There will be reduced prices for beverages. Hope to see you there!!

or comments pertaining to couple’s league.
FEES: Green Fees are $25 per couple.
($20 goes to club and $5 goes in prize envelope). Members are required to pay
the $5 league prize fee. Cart fee is $14.00 (subject to change) per couple. You
are more than welcome to walk for league, no cart is required.
HOW TO JOIN: This league has no
requirement for participation and is open to the public. You sign up and pay on
a week-by-week basis. Teams must consist of one male and one female. Any
newcomers, please register with Marj Watson at
mwatson@newmangolf.com so that I may
keep communication with you.
WEEKLY: You MUST MAKE A TEE TIME to
participate. Sign-up sheet will be at pro-shop counter 1 week prior to league
day up until Thursday. Open tee times will then be made available to the public.
FORMAT: Each week, there will be a
format that your 2 person team will follow, a game and a challenge. Winner's
prizes will be handed out the following week. Score cards must be turned in
immediately following play. Names must be legible to be eligible!
TIME: Tee times will start at 4:30 and go through 6:00 p.m.
DATES:
The season will begin play May 16, 2008 with a kick off party called the
MEET & GREET PARTY on May 9th. Please be sure to RSVP for this event by April
18.
Mid-season banquet and shotgun tournament will
be on June 27. Please be sure to RSVP for this event by June 11.
The season will end play August 22, 2008 with the END OF SEASON BANQUET and
shotgun tournament. Please be sure to RSVP for this event by August 8.
